Building Content Bridge Project
Alright, so We're resuming the story from ex-mark1 project and here's the thing they want me to do an assignment so I guess we're doing an assignment... A custom Contentful-powered landing page builder with a visual drag-and-drop interface that lets editors arrange pre-defined components and save their layout as JSON. The layout is then rendered statically on a Next.js frontend using data from Contentful, delivering performant, SEO-friendly pages with dynamic content and flexible structure.
And i said i could do it by 12 PM Tomorrow Because i can, haha ( context: laughing on my decision like an idot ) But that's not the point if you can or can't do it, The point is you should always ask for more time than you need. It was mentioned to do it in 16 hours on the doc they sent and i said 16, typical of me
But you know after saying 16 i realized the way she was asking me "When can you deliver it ?" I could have asked more time, because from a normal persons perspective it's not that small of an app, sure i could do it but can other people ?
We're temporarily suspending the ex-mark1 project until all these shenanigans are over, But we'll complete it and tda-merch project as well, Btw, i've set my mind tda-merch project is going to have session based auth instead of stateless jwt
And boy, oh boy, I have to improve this writing experience ofmy TDAEditor
I might have to thing of a few things, Do try it out if you're reading sign in to this app and create a blog post may send me an email or submit feedback It's not yet created, i'll probably do it tomorrow .
So did the assignment and guess it went very well, used quite a few technologies there, GraphQL
Next.js SSG
Contentful CMS
, Created a custom editor in Vite a drag and drop editor. It was good
Here's the spoiler i wasn't able to do it by 12 PM i had to request and extended time by 6 PM and by then it was compeletly done, It was very good You can check it out Browse repo I've also created a mono repo structure for ease of use.
